Sad news reached us from Michałów. On 8 December, at the age of 25, marvellous Zagrobla (Monogramm - Zguba/Enrilo) passed away and galloped toevergreen pastures. Bred in Michałów, a gray "monogramm" went down in history of this stud as one of the most titled horses. The most important achievements of this mare include titles such as:
National Championships Senior Mare Champion,
Senior Mare World Champion,
US National Senior Mare Champion
WAHO Award for an outstanding representative of the Polish Arab breed.
Zagrobla also became famous as the mother of two wonderful mares: Zigi Zana (QR Marc - Zagrobla/Monogramm) and Złota Orda (Pesal - Zagrobla/Monogramm). Zigi Zana was second to none in show rings triumphing as Polish Junior Mare Champion, European Junior MareReserve Champion, SpringJunior Mare Show Reserve Champion, International Junior Mare Reserve Champion in Wels, Polish Senior Mare Reserve Champion.Złota Orda is the mother of a stallion – Złoty Medal (QR Marc - Złota Orda/Pesal), which has won the titles of Champion of the Young Stallions Spring Show, Polish Junior StallionReserve Champion, Reserve Champion of theJunior Stallion Spring Show, Second Reserve Champion of thePolish Senior Stallion Championship and II Reserve Champion of the Polish National Senior Stallion Championship. Zagobla was a beautiful decoration of its home stud. She will remain n memory of many Arabian horse lovers as a proud and majestic lady from Michałów.

The show in Menton (22-23.06) brought the greatest success for the wonderful mare Eralda (Emerald J - Enezja / Marajj) bred by Falborek Arabians K. Goździalski stud, owned by Al Shiraa Stables (UAE). The mare once again showed her high level by getting a silver medal at the Junior Mare Championship.Earlier, she won the 3-year-old Mare Class with a score of 91.88 points, including as many as three "20" for head and neck. A high rating in this category translated into an additional special prize for the best head! Janów's Encarina also won her 2-year-old Mare Class. Judges awarded her with a high score of 92.50 points. Encarina delighted us with her movement, thanks to which she added three "20" to her collection.Good performance in the Class gave us hope for a medal in the Championship. However, in the Championship the fun starts from the very beginning because it has its laws and rules. Therefore, unfortunately, there was no place on the podium for the representative of the stud from Janów Podlaski.

XXIX SPRING PURE-BLOODED ARABIAN HORSE YOUTH SHOW IN BIAŁKA
Erantis and Parillus, photo: Marta Baranowska
This year Białka welcomed us with the sunny weather that accompanied us during the whole show. Admittedly, sometimes the temperature was a burden, but small clouds every once in a while allowed us to take a respite. The Horse Stud from Janów Podlaski shone the brightest in the sun, as they won four medals (three gold and one silver). They also got the title of the Best Horse of the Show, i.e. Best in Show! A total of 90 horses met in the ring (100 were entered), including 50 horses from private breeding. In the final, the breeders shared the medals in half: 6 medals were awarded to the private breeders and 6 to the state studs. The stud from Janów Podlaski won four medals and the studs from Białka and Michałów won one medal each.
